"Do you like walking through your neighborhood? Is there a street near your home or your workplace a crossing or sidewalk revolts you each time you pass by?
Here is an opportunity to change your surroundings and take forward your ideas to improve pedestrian. This workshop combines training related to the pedestrian and the city with a practical proposal for improving a street or place of Madrid. Account theoretical sessions, discussions and field work in groups to develop micro pedestrian improvement.
Finally we make a public presentation of the project and prepare the necessary actions for its implementation.
Objectives
• To provide criteria and tools for critical reflection and development of alternatives to improve the public space, with emphasis on pedestrian quality.
· Train facilitators of environmental education and citizens' movements in relation to the problems of pedestrian and practical way to solve them.
Develop micro copies of pedestrian space improvements.
Coordinates:
Citizens and urban professionals and mobility linked to the association of pedestrians on foot, formed in 1995 with the aim of introducing the pedestrian on the agenda social and political life of our city. In order to push social organizations and political parties to have their proposals and actions with regard to pedestrians, the association has undertaken various activities and publications.
